Our plugins are all custom written and cleanly integrated within Minecraft to give you a smooth playing experience.

How does it work?

Players can create bases like they normally do in Minecraft, however their bases can be protected by building a craftable base claim object. Any block within the base claim cannot be destroyed by other players, except by explosions. If a players base claim object is broken, that player loses protection in their base.
Types of items

TNT
TNT is a standard minecraft item. It's explosion, however, isn't. It uses our explosive system which damages a blocks HP instead of outright destroying it.

Bomb
The bomb is a throwable item used to break into bases. We changed that. In MCRaids TNT and all other explosives do HP damage to blocks. When a blocks' HP is used up, it is destroyed. Every block is given an HP value, even obsidian. That doesn't mean raiding is easy though, it costs a lot of materials. Additionally blocks HP are scaled based on their type to allow for a different flow to base-design. This means iron doors actually protect you!

How do spawns work?

Spawns are a unique system in our server. Players are allowed to place 3 beds in the server at any time. When you want to spawn on a bed, type /spawn. A GUI will show on your screen showing you which spawns you can spawn on. Once you respawn on a respawn point, it becomes inactive for 10 minutes. If a respawn point is destroyed by anyone, it is removed from your GUI. Use bed colors to help remember which spawn is which!

How is this hardcore?

Our goal is to make a fast-paced survival experience while still adding a competitive layer to base making. In other servers raiding is easy; you can take a pickaxe to any base and take anyones items. MCRaids eliminates that and replaces it with a more complex system. It encourages PVP and base-making while trying to eliminate hoarding.

Why our system?

We chose to write an in-house base plugin instead of using other plugins simply based on how they're integrated into Minecraft. With MCRaids we want to try to eliminate as many player-typed commands as possible. Your bases are controlled by craftable objects and most other actions in our server are controlled by guis. We chose not to use factions because factions/towny promote too much item safety and item hoarding. We want raiding! We want players to have to track you down and kill you, but still create an environment where it's a challenge to raid your base. This cannot be done in Factions.","null","/banners/d5941882.webp
false
"",1,3050,1779193054365,null,"2026-05-18T00:00:00.008Z"]
